Starting as a small family workshop specialising in upholstery, the foundation stones of Wendelbo were laid in 1955. Six decades and three generations later, the story of the Danish family with a strong dedication to design continues to unfold and prosper.
Today, Wendelbo is an international design company fusing uncompromising upholstery and complementing design icons. Forming long-lasting collaborations with international designers, our collection bridges skilled craftsmanship, supreme quality, and a sophisticated international design signature.
Nuura
We aim to create unique and aesthetic lighting that reflects the riches and joy found in Nordic nature. With the chandelier as a centre, Nuura offers lighting collections that enrich and complete the decor in private homes or public places. By combining elegant design, LED technology and carefully selected high-quality materials, we strive to create unique quality lighting that positively impacts well-being. Nuura means light and honour, and with inspiration from the Nordic light and nature, we want to spread quality light and joy. Founded in 2017 by Sofie Refer, Nadia Lassen and Peter Østerberg.
Bent Hansen
At Bent Hansen we deliver honest design with a passion for solid craftsmanship, high-quality materials, and unique comfort. We humbly dare to call ourselves experts in dressing furniture to its full potential.
We believe, great comfort should consider both the physical, visual, and emotional perception of the furniture. Our knowledge in upholstery is gathered through more than 75 years of experience and combined with a playful approach to design.
Nichba
NICHBA comes from NICHlas B. Andersen and is pronounced as: NIK-BA. Nichlas B. Andersen is co-founder and product designer. From the very beginning, we have been a team of passionate founders and employees, all of whom have contributed to where we are today.
At NICHBA, we believe that the most sustainable purchase is the one you don’t have to replace again – that’s why all our products are designed and built to last for generations.
GRID
Danish manufacturer GRID System is a family-owned business founded by the Danish designer Peter J. Lassen in 2010. Peter designed the original cube – the GRID module – in 2004. Peter saw GRID as the next evolutionary stage of his vision to create unprecedented flexibility in how we design our home and workplace interiors.
MATER
Founded in Copenhagen in 2006, Mater is a pioneering green-tech
design brand with sustainability and circularity at its core.
From the outset, the ambition was to inspire a global design audience and engage people in sustainable thinking.
We use cutting-edge technology in production allowing us to transform waste materials into furniture. Through collaboration with well-established and new design talents, we create timeless designs in a sustainable and responsible way.
MAZE
Maze was born by chance in 2003 when photographer Kent Johansson was looking for a bedside table for his small Stockholm apartment. Between the bed and the wall he had a few meager decimetres to spare. Bedside market gave Kent a cold hand so he was forced to take matters into his own hands. Six pieces of wood and a handful of nails later, F-shelf and thus also Maze was born. Unbeknownst to them, Kent had already tapped into some of our cornerstones: Smart design combined with locally produced, good material choices.
PILKE
The history of Pilke starts in the Finnish forests 2010 and continues in the forefront of production technology. With Finnish materials, handicraft, production and designers like Tuukka Halonen, Harri Koskinen, Janne Uusi-Autti and Susan Elo, the core of Pilke is sustainability is. We strive to create authentic, ambitious, and friendly culture with a mission to create lights that lasts from generation to generation – classics of tomorrow.
